NaNoWriMo is upon us

So what exactly is NaNoWriMo? No, it's not some secret organization bent on world dominance (but it could be).

NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month. What happens (in November) is this: a bunch of us crazy writers sign up at www.nanowrimo.org and try to bang out 50,000 words in one month.
Personally, this will be a first. I think I must be a little warped to try it. I usually write short stories, so a novel in a month may present a challenge. But I'm determined to have my 50k come Nov. 30

I tried NaNoWriMo two years ago. I didn't do it officially or anything, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.
I didn't do the 50k in the month, but I did at least come out with a novel.

Good luck to you.
