So what exactly is NaNoWriMo? No, it's not some secret organization bent on world dominance (but it could be).NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month. What happens (in November) is this: a bunch of us crazy writers sign up at www.nanowrimo.org and try to bang out 50,000 words in one month.
Personally, this will be a first. I think I must be a little warped to try it. I usually write short stories, so a novel in a month may present a challenge. But I'm determined to have my 50k come Nov. 30

I tried NaNoWriMo two years ago. I didn't do it officially or anything, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.
I didn't do the 50k in the month, but I did at least come out with a novel.
